As part of major seismic strengthening of the Hutt City Council Administration Building on Laings Road, NME delivered a full upgrade of the building’s mechanical services, bringing comfort, air quality and energy performance up to modern standards while supporting the facility’s renewed structure and long-term role in the local community.
We supplied, installed, tested and commissioned the complete HVAC system across all three levels, centred on a modern six-pipe chilled- and heating-water plant serving fan coil units throughout the building. The six-pipe design enables simultaneous heating and cooling with heat recovery, providing precise room-by-room control while minimising energy use.
Working alongside main contractor Naylor Love, our team delivered a quiet, efficient and resilient climate-control system that will serve the council for years to come.
